ST. LOUIS • A 66-year-old man was lying on his couch in his home when a bullet came through his window and struck him in the cheek, police said Wednesday night.
Police did not release the man’s condition but said he is stable.
The shooting happened at the home in the 3400 block of Virginia Avenue just after 10 p.m.
The scene is just north of Cherokee Street and east of Gravois Avenue in the Benton Park West neighborhood.
In July 2015, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg at the doorway to his home in the same block. He didn’t see who shot him, but witnesses told police they saw two men in dark clothing run away.
